As you may have realised from Black Dragon's LJ post we are no longer together. Theres not alot i want to say on the matter cos its still rather upsetting as i still care about him and it was probably the hardest thing ive ever had to do :( maybe when i feel up to it il write more but its all very wierd atm, esp cos it didnt end badly. We still get along really well and I cant imagine being totally without him.
Anyway before i start crying again il just give a quick update on what else ive been doing. friday i met up with Rob, Simon and Dren for a couple of drinks after work. We went to the big arcade in Leicester Square it was sooo cool ive never seen soooo many games machines in my life!!!
Saturday i met up with my cousin Charlotte, and i went to get my navel pierced. It was awesome! i wasnt worried at all it as actually a cool experience. It didnt hurt at all cos he obviously numbed it but i felt him poke the bar through my skin. Either way i love it and i think it looks really good :D I then went in to london and met up with Rob and had a wander round Oxford street and did some shopping for him. It was a nice day and i just love london!!!
Sunday i met up with Black Dragon in Braintree and we had a wander round the Freeport Village and went to see Night at the Museum. it was a cool movie i really liked it :) It was really nice to spend the day with him even though it did end like it did :'(Current Mood:  sad Current Music: Stone Sour - Cardiff |

Happy new year everyone :D i hope you all had a fantastic xmas and new year :D i spent xmas at black dragons house with his family which was really nice, we went to see snow white on ice which black dragon decided he would nearly fall asleep watching lol. i thought it was really good though and enjoyed it (wish i had any sort of balance to be able to do that lol) :)
Boxing day we went to my dads which was nice as i havent spent time with them in aaaages. we went into Kings Lynn which was soooo much busier than we were expecting especially getting petrol lol. i had to come home on the 28th cos the job centre told me i had to go in on the 29th so i couldnt stay that long at my dads which sucked, whats even worse was that when i got to the job centre on the 29th i got asked "what are you doing here, you dont need to be here" to which i got very annoyed at, as you can imagine. Driving 100 miles in the thick fog just cos they tell me one thing just to then tell me that! as black dragon can vouch for i was very far from impressed.
New years eve was a quiet one, spent the evening having some drinks with black dragon back here at mine.
all in all ive eaten sooo much food over xmas and its been great :D not put on that much weight either which is good :D
So now its 2007 and i hope that this year will bring some more happiness for me, im starting the new year feeling very hopeful and positive so i hope this feeling remains, its a nice change :)

Well im back in Essex now which is kinda sad as im now far away from all my friends and leaving the house all empty was really sad :( ive just gotta get my stuff properly unpacked now which might take a while. It took like 5 hours to pack and load the car with all my stuff. Half of it being with my dad and the other half here with me at mums house. Ive enjoyed university sooo much and all the great people ive become friends with, its gonna take a while to get used to the fact i cant have that life anymore.
But hey life goes on and i have graduation and looking for a job to look forward to now. Im gonna have to build up my skills so much more now and the pressure is on to produce an amazing portfolio to show to employers. But for the first time in sooo long i had a really long lay in, i didnt get up til half 12 :-O i was completely shattered from the move yesterday so thats my excuse :P Whats gonna be difficult is that my computer isnt connected to the internet here and its not gonna be easy to get myself the internet until i sort out a change in ISP for my mum. Thats one of the jobs on the list of things to do. It just means atm i have to come downstairs to do reseach and then have to go back upstairs to do work and having to keep going back and forth. At least il get some exercise going up and down stairs i guess.

Im currently doing odd bits and pieces on my computer and watchin south park until i can go to bed. The only reason im still awake is that my housemates have quite a few people here in the living room making lots of noise and talkin loudly so therefore i wont be able to sleep even thought im exhausted. sigh.

Well my project demo is 2moro at 11am. Im pretty prepared for it and done as much as i can do and it all works in the labs so its just a matter of doing the demo. At this point its just wanting to get this all out the way its draggin on waaaaaay too much. this time 2moro il be FREEEEEEE!!! i would have completed my degree and its just a matter of waiting on the results. Ive been working on a few different bits of modelling recently.

Since my animation exam ive been attempting to revise for my systems engineering exam. Theres been a few problems with this from the fact that the notes are difficult to read and my brain hasnt retained any of the information ive been reading. So as you can imagine im completely screwed for the exam 2moro and currently really worried. I think my brain has gone on strike or somethin which isnt good.
On the plus side i finally have a date for my project demo which is this friday at 10am, so i can finally relax a bit more after this which is good. In between revision i have been modelling. ( what ive been doing... )

This morning i had my animation exam. I think it went quite well i was able to answer every question and wrote alot for each so im quite pleased with how it went. its just systems engineering exam and my project demo to go now then im done with uni.havent looked at project in a while so will have a look at that soon but i havent been told when my demo is yet.
Everythin is going well atm getting my house project completed and it is currently rendering. I have yet to complete my show reel i have to send off this will probably include my girl with wings, my first animation piece of coursework (for those of u who dont know it was a penguin gig), the aztec level im designing, a little animation of a slug crossing a finish line, dragon breathing fire and the house. Although i ultimately want more more character done but its finding the time.
Thats pretty much all ive been doing. Also if anyone can tell me how i can create a movie file of my opengl stuff like my 2dgame and 3rd year project id be very grateful :D

I thought id update seeing as i havent in a while. Well i havent really been up to anythin interesting recently its mainly been revision for animation exam and been doing some modelling in between. On friday i drew a picture of a girl with wings cos i was bored and i decided to make her in 3dsmax.

It didnt turn out too badly especially as it only took about a day. Its 10264 polygons in total. I also created an animation which makes her skirt blow about in the wind. You can see this by going to my portfolio and getting the .avi file.

Im trying to get as many side projects done and put on my portfolio as im starting to get calls from agencies asking about my work. On thursday i got a call from a guy who deals with companies such as Electronic Arts, Rockstar, Sega, Codemasters and Activision, and is interested in getting me a job with one of those, which is exciting.
Today il be getting on with some revision at some point and il probably try to get some more of my house model finished.

Yesterday a few of us went over to trs house to play with weapons. It was alot of fun and was nice to relax for a change. We spent the day playing with the air rifles and the archery stuff and then the evening we had a bonfire and a BBQ. It was a really nice day and was alot of fun :D im not too bad at archery either :D
Today im chilling out at mine and waiting for the postie and then probably going back to black dragon's house.
Ive been working on my portfolio alot recently and it is currently in the process of being put online. if anyone wants to have a look at the work ive been doing have a look here...

I just handed in my final report and it feels good to not have to think about it anymore. Its nice to be able to relax for a little while before i start revising for the animation exam which is the next big thing. I finally have alot more time to work on my many side projects which is good. Woohoo!!!

Yay first exam done!! and i think it went quite well. Was alot better than i expected although some questions were still like wtf! There might just be some hope yet :) So uni stuff i have left to do;
